In a rapidly changing world, whereas the benefits of insurance are still unclear with our communities, regulation in the sector is crucial to treat policyholders and customers fairly, provide transparent policies, and maintain adequate reserves to meet claims.
In so doing, we prevent fraud, misrepresentation, and other harmful practices, stability, foster trust, but most importantly maintain a stable industry.
As the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda, we pledge to continue with this drive. Looking ahead to 2025, let us continue to embrace innovation, enhance customer experiences, and uphold the values of trust and reliability that are at the heart of our industry.
